Across Town Planning and Site Acquisitions is 100% locally owned and operated and was created to assist existing property owners realise the full potential of their property through development and to help those looking to acquire residential and commercial property for redevelopment on the Sunshine Coast.
Founder and Owner Benjamin Cross graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2008 as part of the founding class of Regional and Urban Planning students. While his professional career and personal interests have taken him to more than 50 countries around the world, Ben still chooses to call the Sunshine Coast home.
Ben is passionate about all aspects of property development from acquisition through to project completion. This is demonstrated by his desire to understand and achieve a clients needs; communicate simply and effectively; and deliver a high-quality product for each and every customer.
With 15+ years’ experience in development assessment, site acquisition and project management within both the public and private sectors, Across Town Planning has a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to get the relevant approvals or secure the perfect property. Across Town Planning also have access to some of the Coast's best and brightest consultants to assist our clients’ endeavours.

Site Appraisal
Looking at purchasing a site or think your existing site has development potential? Our site appraisals consist of a comprehensive review of the property against all applicable parts of the planning scheme.
Pre-Lodgement Meetings
We co-ordinate pre-lodgement meetings with Council. Our Fee includes initial site appraisal, pre-lodgement co-ordination and attendance; and a summary of our interpretation of Council’s comments and recommendations on how to proceed after the meeting.
Building Works requiring Development Approval
Planning reports required to accompany building work such as carports, patio’s, decks, pools and retaining walls or other ancillary building work.

FEE STRUCTURE
Our fee’s relate to the preparation, submission and management of your application from lodgement to decision, including an information requests from State or Council.
A 10% management fee is added to any consultants we need to engage on your behalf.
Our fee’s do not include pre-lodgement meetings or Council/State referral or applications fee’s, infrastructure contributions or any other fee’s payable by you as the applicant to the Council or the State.
Quotes for Council and State applications and referrals can be obtained as part of our Appraisal service.
